About Me
Let me introduce myself...
I’m Hollie, a Personal Trainer based at Koru Gym in Bishop’s Stortford. I’ve been part of the local fitness community for over 10 years, working with clients through 1-to-1 Personal Training and my challenging Bullett Bootcamp. I now also offer indoor circuit classes and private Personal Training sessions in Great Dunmow, as well as online training for those who need a more flexible approach to fitness.
My own fitness journey is a big part of why I became a Personal Trainer. I’ve always had a keen interest in sport and spent years competing in team sports, but I also struggled with my own weight, fitness and confidence along the way.
It wasn’t until I started working with a Personal Trainer myself that I realised just how much of a difference the right support could make. I experienced the physical and mental benefits first-hand, and it sparked a passion in me to help other people experience that same feeling. I knew I had found something I genuinely loved.
With hypermobility, I understand first-hand what it can feel like to have a body that doesn’t always feel as supportive or stable as you’d like. This has given me a real understanding of the importance of building strength, stability and confidence through the right kind of training. Over the years, I’ve worked with many people with hypermobility, helping them develop strength and feel more capable and confident in their bodies.
Alongside this, I have a particular interest in strength training and supporting people returning to exercise following injury. Everyone’s body is different, and I believe training should be adapted to the individual rather than expecting everyone to follow the same approach. My aim is always to help you build strength safely, progressively and confidently, while working alongside any professional rehabilitation or medical advice you may have.
I’m a fun, chatty and adventurous person, with a love of travelling and trying new things. I bring that same enthusiasm into my work and I’m always looking to learn, develop my knowledge and explore new training techniques so I can continue to give my clients the best possible support.
Fitness is about more than how you look.
For me, it’s not about washboard abs or taking the perfect gym selfie! It’s about improving your health, becoming stronger and feeling more confident — both physically and mentally.
I know life can be hectic, and finding the time to focus on yourself can sometimes feel impossible. That’s why I offer online training, giving you the flexibility to train around your lifestyle, wherever you are and whenever works for you.
Whether you prefer face-to-face Personal Training, a challenging group circuit, or the flexibility and accountability of online coaching, I can help you find an approach that works for you.
I’m here to help you:
Increase your strength, fitness and physical abilities.
Improve your health and boost your confidence.
Build strength and stability to better support your body.
Return to exercise confidently following injury.
Set realistic goals and work towards your fitness potential.
Create a stronger, healthier and happier version of yourself.
Most importantly, I believe training should be something you enjoy, not something you dread. Every workout is an opportunity to improve yourself, and small amounts of progress can lead to big results.
Whether you’re completely new to exercise, looking to get your fitness back on track, managing a body that needs a little more support, returning from injury, or simply want to challenge yourself and become stronger, I’m here to help you get there.
Your commitment + my motivation = Results!
